The West Virginia Woodturner's Association fair debut was a great success. We had numerous visitors
to our booth. Displayed was a wide range of peices turned by our membership and offered for sale.
We also had members in the booth performing live demonstrations each day. We gave out over 250 business cards for our
club, around 100 tops that were turned in the booth and 20 or more snowmen. People really enjoyed watching members turn
hollow vessels, bats, bowls, tops, snowmen, pens ect.
When Rodney was not turning he also treated us to some Banjo playing that was very enjoyable and added a
great atmosphere to the booth.
A special thanks to the members who helped in making this a success either with setup, cleanup, turning ect.
This was great way to inform the local community and the state about the WVWA and also about the art of woodturning.
