The West Virginia Woodturners Association provides woodturners in southeastern West Virginia and western Virginia with an opportunity to meet other turners, enhance their skills, and share their skills and interests in woodturning. Carnegie Hall Exhibit

The Club has been invited to exhibit our woodturnings in the Museum Gallery at Carnegie Hall. The exhibit will open on March 4 and be open to the public during them months of March and April. There will be an opening reception on Friday, March 4 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM in conjunction with Lewisburg's First Friday event.

All Club members are invited to submit an example of their turnings for inclusion in the exhibit. Items can be offered for sale with a modest commission or marked "Not For Sale". Each Club member will be receiving an email with more information about the exhibit and how turnings are to be submitted.

Next Meeting: January 23

The January meeting will be held at The Fort at 9:30 AM on Saturday, January 23. Cliff Baker will demonstrate how to turn a natural edge bowl from green wood.

2015 Christmas Banquet Highlights

Thanks go to Bob Nickell for organizing the Christmas banquet at The Fort. 35 members and spouses enjoyed a delicious Italian dinner that was catered by Giovanni's.

Cliff Baker turned this yellow pine vase and bowl from a timber salvaged from The Barracks.
