Serving Southeastern West Virginia
I have had a life-long interest in wood and woodworking and was employed as a forester during my working career. My woodturning experience started about 1970 when I bought a wood lathe and actively turned for several years, but gradually limited my turning to a few needed items. I started again several years ago when Gerald Chandler encouraged me to join the West Virginia Woodturners Association. I enjoy trying the new ideas I learn at each meeting. I am mainly interested in bowl turning and like to look for the beauty which can be found hidden in a chunk of wood.
