The September meeting will begin at 9:30 AM on September 26 at The Fort in Lewisburg. Dave Vehrs, Harry Newman, and Bob Nickell will demonstrate how they turn the Christmas ornaments, decorations, and other small turnings that they give away at public turning demonsrations. Members who paricipated in the pen turning challenge should bring their pens to the meeting.
Twelve members and five guests attended the annual Summer Barbecue that was held at The Fort on August 23. In addition to good food and good fellowship, several members displayed turnings they completed recently.
Special thanks go to the grillmaster, Bob Nickell, for making all the preparations for the barbecue and cooking a tasty meal!
