The West Virginia Woodturners Association provides woodturners in southeastern West Virginia and western Virginia with an opportunity to meet other turners, enhance their skills, and share their skills and interests in woodturning. Our annual Christmas Party is scheduled for December 16th at 7 pm at Fruits of Labor Cafe in Rainelle. If you have not made your reservation yet, please contact Bob Nickell (rnickell4444@reagan.com) as soon as possible, we need a head count for the caterer. The cost is only $12.50 per person. Everyone is encouraged to bring their year's favorite turnings to display and everyone who brings an item to show will be entered into a drawing for a prize.
Twenty five members and two guest were at the November meeting which is the official Annual Meeting of the Club. The report of the Nominating Committee was accepted and the 2016 Officers and Directors wre elected to serve in their same roles for 2017.
Twelve Club members submitted pepper mills for the Club Challenge and eight displayed turnings for Show and Tell. Apologies to all the members who participated - the Webmaster is in Australia but his notes listing the turnings and who created them are in West Virginia so there are no captions describing the turnings or listing names.

The Club has partnered with the WV Fine Artisans Gallery and seven members are displaying their turnings at the Gallery. The Gallery is located at 315 W.
